The Nomos Lambda- it even feels good to just say the name of the watch. Lambda in Greek stands for intrinsic values. One of the perks of being part of team Minimatikal is that I get hands-on with pretty much every model from the Nomos collection. The Lambda is 39mm in diameter- a size that I usually consider to be a bit too big for my 14.5cm wrist. The Lambda is a watch that I will always make an exception for.
The Tangente Neomatik is the latest version of NOMOS’ evergreen, fitted with the slim, self-winding DUW 3001 movement. I recently had the chance to go hands-on with this watch.
In 2013 NOMOS introduced both the Lambda and the Lux. With cases in either rose or white gold, and high-end hand-wound movements, the Lambda and the Lux are the crown jewels of the NOMOS collection. Today I went hands-on with the tonneau-shaped Lux.
Besides watches & jewelry, BaselWorld is famous for the ‘swag’ given out by brands to jewelers, press, clients and distributors. At BaselWorld 2017 NOMOS took home the prize for best swag with these limited edition MYKITA sunglasses.
