Orion Antrazit – a darker side of NOMOS
Isn’t it interesting how much a watch can change from simple things like a different dial color, or even a simple strap change? Take a look at this NOMOS Orion. Normally it’s a fresh and clean watch; strict in its form yet still very inviting and open. With the Anthrazit dial however this changes completely. What we’re up against now is the Orion’s mischievous cousin; dark and mysterious tough never the air of elegance that’s ingrained in the DNA of the larger NOMOS family.
The NOMOS Orion Anthrazit 307 has a stainless steel case of 35mm. In our case this houses an earlier version of NOMOS’ famous hand-wound movements, caliber 1TSP, which was one of the first ones with the signature 3/4 platine. If you’re used to seeing the Alpha movement, this is quite a different sight with the gilded finish!
We received this Orion straight from NOMOS as part of a number of watches they have been using for display purposes, which is why it is labeled as Mint rather than New. It will however be sold with the full manufacturers warranty, plus all boxes and papers. As the movement powering this watch has been discontinued for quite a while now, we offer this watch at a 25% discount compared to the current production model.
This watch is now fitted with a grey velours strap in size S, which I’d say look good up to a wrist size of about 16.5cm? We’d be happy to swap out the strap for any other from the current NOMOS collection at no additional charge though. Just let us know!
