press release: the renewed NOMOS Ahoi Atlantik

New watches for all occasions

Not only can the new Ahoi Atlantic swim, but it can also join you at the office or adorn your wrist at the gallery opening; it is an all-rounder, capable of everything all at once. The 24/7 watch from NOMOS GlashĂŒtte is now available in three versions.

GLASHÜTTE, 23. JUNE 2022. Clear and refreshing design for all occasions: The three versions of the new Ahoi Atlantic, which NOMOS GlashĂŒtte is releasing just in time for summer, never have to leave the wrist. These watches are attractive and elegant on the wrist 24/7, and also robust. Timepieces that can be worn on all occasions, for people who have packed schedules and many responsibilities.

Now all you need is the wind in your sails. Stainless steel, sapphire crystal glass, and the screw-down crown, protected on both sides, make AHoi Atlantic a versatile sports watch.

Sports watches come in all shapes and sizes. Classic watch models are a dime a dozen. But watches that compellingly unite the two are few and far between. A typical feature of NOMOS watches has always been that they can be worn to work or any social occasion, day in and day out; Ahoi Atlantic now adds the sporty aspect.

Bright white on dark blue – the dial of the sporty Ahoi neomatik Atlantic is designed with crisp colors and is easy to read. Numerals, hands and indexes illuminate green.

Ahoi Atlantic, Ahoi date Atlantic and Ahoi neomatik Atlantic are the full names of these watches. They are waterproof—up to 200 meters. While the first two are driven by the in-house DUW 5001 caliber and DUW 5101 date movement in a slightly larger case, the smaller Ahoi neomatik Atlantic runs on the new, particularly slim automatic technology from NOMOS GlashĂŒtte. All three feature a textile strap which is woven specially for NOMOS GlashĂŒtte in France.

new: NOMOS Ahoi Neomatik Signal White & Club Neomatik Signal White

This week NOMOS added two watches to its Aqua collection; the Club Neomatik Signal White reference 744, and the Ahoi Neomatik Signal White reference 564.

Just in time for summer 2018, NOMOS introduced two new members of the Aqua family: the Club Neomatik 744 and the Ahoi Neomatik 564. Both feature the new Signal White dial, which is bright white rather than silverish, with red and blue accents & numerals. Time is indicated through tempered blue hands for the hours & minutes, and a deep red seconds hand. For both the Ahoi as well as the Club there’s now a choice of five dial colors – the Nameless silver, the dark-blue Atlantik, the Siren White, Siren Blue, and Siren Red.

I quite like these, especially the Club. The dial looks more crisp compared to the regular silver one, and the blue hands provide ample contrast. The red & blue details add a nautical vibe which makes me long for a long slow day at the beach. I think these dials fall nicely in between the more subdued silver & Atlantik and the all-out Signal Blue & Signal Red. Nicely done!

The NOMOS Club Neomatik Signal White reference 744 has a stainless steel case of 37,0mm, water resistant up to 20 atm. It has a retail price of EUR 2.500 incl. VAT.

The NOMOS Ahoi Neomatik Signal White reference 564 has a stainless steel case of 36,3 mm, water resistant up to 20 atm. It has a retail price of EUR 3.240 incl. VAT.

weltweit: FratelloWatches reviews the Ahoi Datum Atlantik

In ‘weltweit’ we keep track of NOMOS articles posted around the web.

Today, FratelloWatches‘ posted a review of the Ahoi Atlantik Datum by BalĂĄzs Ferenczi;

As I was lifting the green box out of the parcel for a second I thought I heard fanfares and a boy choir singing.  I also saw blinding yellow light shining out of the box lid. Instead, a group of 6 guys gathered around me and before I could even take a glance of it the Nomos was gone.

weltweit: ABlogToWatch hands-on with the Ahoi Neomatik

In ‘weltweit’ we try to keep track of NOMOS articles posted around the web.

ABlogToWatch goes hands-on with the Ahoi Neomatik post-BaselWorld 2017.

There will be four dial colors on offer here. The first two will be familiar to readers – Silver and Atlantic Blue. But there’s also two new dial colors here called “Signalblau” and “Signalrot.” The former is a very bright, almost neon, blue; and the later is a very bright red. I like these two new colors very much. Under direct light, the new Signalblau and Signalrot almost look as if they are glowing, but under dimmer light conditions, they take on a darker more somber hue.
