This morning we received a NOMOS Club Neomatik Siren White (ref. 744). The watch is already en-route to one of our esteemed friends in the Middle East – but of course not before spending a few minutes in front of our lens.
I must say I am quite taken with this piece! The Club is my fav NOMOS and this might just be one of NOMOS’ best yet. The red and blue just pop against that gloss white dial. It just screams summer and makes me long for long hot days on the beach.
This week NOMOS added two watches to its Aqua collection; the Club Neomatik Signal White reference 744, and the Ahoi Neomatik Signal White reference 564.
Just in time for summer 2018, NOMOS introduced two new members of the Aqua family: the Club Neomatik 744 and the Ahoi Neomatik 564. Both feature the new Signal White dial, which is bright white rather than silverish, with red and blue accents & numerals. Time is indicated through tempered blue hands for the hours & minutes, and a deep red seconds hand. For both the Ahoi as well as the Club there’s now a choice of five dial colors – the Nameless silver, the dark-blue Atlantik, the Siren White, Siren Blue, and Siren Red.
I quite like these, especially the Club. The dial looks more crisp compared to the regular silver one, and the blue hands provide ample contrast. The red & blue details add a nautical vibe which makes me long for a long slow day at the beach. I think these dials fall nicely in between the more subdued silver & Atlantik and the all-out Signal Blue & Signal Red. Nicely done!
