NOMOS Metro 38 urban grey

The NOMOS Metro was introduced back in 2014. It was designed by Mark Braun, a German designer based in Berlin. The Metro features distinct wire lugs and hands inspired by skyscrapers. In its original iteration, reference 1101, the Metro featured NOMOS’ hand-wound movement with power reserve and date, which gives the watch a distinct a-symmetrical dial lay-out.

The NOMOS Metro presented here however brings the Metro back to basics. It pairs the Metro design with the brand’s signature Alpha movement, the hand-wound caliber with small seconds that powers some of NOMOS’ most emblematic watches.  The result is a clean and classic look. At 38.5mm, the case is slightly larger. It is available with either a closed (reference 1112) or see-through case back (reference 1111). The dial is Urban Grey.
