NOMOS Tangente neomatik 41 Update

The NOMOS Tangente neomatik 41 Update is a modern take on NOMOS iconic Tangente. The clear-cut case measures 40.5mm across, a contemporary yet elegant size. It houses NOMOS’ caliber DUW601, a self-winding, in-house movement with date. Due to its clever construction, the height of this movement is a slender 3.6mm. The date can be set both forward and backwards, a rare but much appreciated feature. It is displayed in a unique way: the date ring, placed far out around the edge of the dial, features two red dots that frame the current date. The height of the case is a mere 7.8mm, only .6mm more than a comparable model without date. The Tangente neomatik 41 Update reference 180 has a silver dial. Of course it features the Arabic numerals in the Bauhaus-era font that has come to define the Tangente – look at those long lines and sharp serifs! It is fitted with a black remborde Horween Shell Cordovan strap.
